Ingredients

Wings

12 chicken wings, separated

Orange BBQ Marinade

⅓ cup chili sauce

¼ cup orange marmalade

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

1½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon prepared mustard


Instructions

Prepare the Marinade

  1. Separate the chicken wings into flats and drumettes and remove the tips.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together:
    • Chili sauce
    • Orange marmalade
    • Red wine vinegar
    • Worcestershire sauce
    • Garlic powder
    • Prepared mustard
  3. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Marinate the Wings

  1. Place the wings in a large resealable bag.
  2. Pour the marinade over the wings.
  3. Seal the bag and turn to coat thoroughly.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.
  5. Turn the bag occasionally during marinating.

Bake the Wings

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove the wings from the marinade and reserve the marinade.
  3. Arrange the wings on a broiler pan or wire rack set over a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes.
  5. Brush the wings with the reserved marinade every 15 minutes.
  6. Continue baking until the wings are caramelized, golden brown, and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Discard any remaining marinade.
  8. Transfer the wings to a serving platter.
  9. Serve warm.
