These Taco Chicken Wings combine zesty taco seasoning, crunchy breadcrumbs, and rich taco sauce to create a flavorful Tex-Mex appetizer that's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They're easy to prepare and perfect for game days, parties, and family dinners.

Ingredients

2½ pounds chicken wings, separated

1 packet taco seasoning mix (about 1¼ ounces)

2 cups dry breadcrumbs

1 jar (16 ounces) taco sauce


Instructions

Prepare the Wings

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Separate the chicken wings into flats and drumettes and remove the tips.
  3. Lightly grease a baking sheet or coat with nonstick cooking spray.

Prepare the Coating

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and taco seasoning mix.
  2. Stir until evenly blended.
  3. Pour the taco sauce into a separate shallow dish.

Coat the Wings

  1. Dip each wing piece into the taco sauce.
  2. Roll the coated wing in the breadcrumb mixture until fully covered.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake

  1. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  2. Turn the wings once halfway through cooking.
  3. Continue baking until golden brown, crispy, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. Transfer to a serving platter and serve hot.
