- Process until a smooth marinade forms.
- Arrange the wings in a large shallow dish.
- Spoon the marinade over the wings, rubbing it thoroughly into the chicken.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil.
- Place a lightly oiled wire rack over the pan.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.
- Spoon any remaining marinade over the wings.
- Bake in the upper third of the oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Continue cooking until the wings are browned, slightly charred around the edges, and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
