These Glazed Chicken Wings are marinated overnight in a flavorful blend of cranberry jelly, honey mustard, and orange zest, creating a sweet-tart glaze with beautiful caramelization. The combination of fruit, citrus, and mustard produces a sophisticated flavor that's perfect for holidays, parties, and special occasions.

Ingredients

16 chicken wings, separated

1 can cranberry jelly sauce (approximately 14 ounces)

¼ cup water

¾ cup honey mustard

1 teaspoon grated orange zest


Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberry jelly sauce and water.
  2. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally until smooth and fully blended.
  3. Remove from the heat.
  4. Stir in the honey mustard and orange zest.
  5. Allow the glaze to cool slightly.
  6. Place the chicken wings in a medium mixing bowl.
  7. Pour the glaze over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
  8. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  9. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
  10. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and lightly coat with nonstick cooking spray.
  11. Remove the wings from the marinade, reserving the marinade.
  12. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared pan.
  13. Bake for 20 minutes.
  14. Turn the wings over and brush generously with the reserved marinade.
  15. Continue baking for an additional 20 to 25 minutes, or until caramelized and cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  16. Transfer to a serving platter and serve warm.
