1 package chicken wings, separated (approximately 2½ to 3 pounds)

1 cup cola soft drink

1 cup ketchup

¼ cup butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer in a large baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cola, ketchup, and melted butter until combined.
  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the wings.
  5. Turn the wings to coat thoroughly.
  6. Bake uncovered for approximately 1 hour.
  7. Turn the wings once or twice during cooking to keep them coated in the glaze.
  8. Continue baking until the wings are tender, caramelized, and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  9. Transfer to a serving platter and spoon any remaining glaze over the wings before serving.
