CHINA SAM'S CHICKEN WINGS

These flavorful broiled chicken wings are seasoned with Asian-inspired spices and coated in a rich glaze made from teriyaki marinade, barbecue sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Finished under the broiler until lightly caramelized, they deliver the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors.

Ingredients

12 medium chicken wings, separated

1 teaspoon Asian seasoning blend

1 teaspoon hot and spicy stir-fry seasoning

Glaze

¼ cup teriyaki marinade

¼ cup Asian-style barbecue sauce

¼ cup oyster sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon soy sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler and position the oven rack in the middle of the oven.
  2. Arrange the chicken wings on a broiler pan with the skin side facing down.
  3. Season the wings evenly with the Asian seasoning blend and hot and spicy stir-fry seasoning.
  4. Broil for approximately 10 minutes, or until the wings begin to brown.
  5. While the wings cook, prepare the glaze.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the teriyaki marinade, barbecue sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and soy sauce until smooth.
  7. Remove the wings from the oven and turn them over.
  8. Lightly season the second side if desired.
  9. Return the wings to the broiler and continue cooking until golden brown.
  10. Remove the wings from the oven.
  11. Dip each wing into the glaze, allowing excess sauce to drip off.
  12. Return the glazed wings to the broiler pan.
  13. Broil for 2 to 3 additional minutes, or until the glaze becomes lightly caramelized and slightly crusted.
  14. Transfer to a serving platter and serve immediately.
