INGREDIENTS
1 pound lean ground beef
1 tbsp vegetable oil
½ cup diced onion
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp kosher salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup diced dill pickles
12 egg roll wrappers
1 tbsp water
Oil for frying
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and cook until softened.
- Add the ground beef and cook until brown.
- Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and diced pickles.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean work surface.
- Spoon about ¼ cup of filling into the center.
- Fold and roll tightly, sealing the edge with water.
- Repeat with the remaining wrappers.
- Heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
